The situation
Two hotels on the island of Lošinj needed marketing sites their staff could edit, fast on mobile, and safe to deploy during the season.
What I did
- Next.js 16 front ends on a Strapi 5 CMS, with content types for rooms, dining, spa, offers and events.
- CI/CD from scratch; migrations of Strapi 4 to 5 and MySQL to PostgreSQL; ISR revalidation webhooks; CMS-managed redirects; responsive, cached image delivery.
- Blue/green zero-downtime deploys with preflight checks, rollback and Grafana deploy annotations, reused across both sites.
